1987: THE BEGINNING
After twelve years providing technology consulting and computer sales, repair & programming services on a part-time basis, the
company founders
responded to a growing need for experienced and competent computer support to business users, and in 1987 founded Rick Stricker & Associates.
LakeShore Computer Technologies has provided software development, consulting and technical
support services to national & worldwide companies, such as:

Originally located in Southfield, Michigan, the company moved to West Michigan in 1992.
1994: THE INTERNET AND THE WEB
In late 1994, the company launched its web-development division, WebSlingers Web Development. At this time, they also launched West Michigan's very first CyberCafe.
In July of 1995 Rick Stricker & Associates added Internet access to their list of services, becoming only the second Internet Service Provider (ISP) on the West Michigan
lakeshore. To better reflect these new services, the name of the parent company was changed to LakeShore Connect, LLC.
1995-1997: EXPANSION
Between 1995 and 1997, LakeShore Connect acquired the customers and hard assets of two retail stores and one consultancy, further expanding its customer base.
1997/1998: EVOLUTION
The name and ISP functions of LakeShore Connect were sold in June 1997, and in January 1998 Rick and Teri founded LakeShore
Computer Technologies in Grand Haven, Michigan, as the parent company for WebSlingers Web Development.
Throughout this era, WebSlingers was widely acknowledged as the most experienced web developer in West Michigan, with the longest time online and the largest
online portfolio of any web developer in the area.
2007-PRESENT: GEOGRAPHICAL EXPANSION & A WORLDWIDE CLIENT BASE
In early 2007, WebSlingers began offering website design, development, maintenance and hosting services from a second location in MIddle Tennessee.
In 2014, WebSlingers returned its base of operations to West Michigan.
In 2021, We relocated to Central Florida.
Today, WebSlingers' clients can be found across the United States, as well as in Canada, Asia and South America.
